I'm about to make myself a snorkel ...
Anyone with an engineering/engine building background can/want to recommend a dimension?
For performance reasons, I want to make it as big as necessary ... but not sure what "as big as necessary" is. 2"? 2.5"? 3"? Don't want it to look silly either!. Wouldn't mind putting an ARB pre-cleaner on top ... but couldn't find the dia. of the damn thing (only the outer diameter).
I suppose I could ballpark it at 15-25% larger than the intake (past the airbox) since it is such a long and curvy transit ...
edit - nevermind, got my answer right here in this thread http://www.therangerstation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14612&page=2 from MuddyCowboy
I guess 2.5" is the minimum, 3" would be better
