Well I finally settled on some taillights. Got some 06-11 taillights, drilled out a hole for the turn signal and I am good to go

Started with this (this first pic not my truck)

Then bought off eBay what I thought were these

But really were these

Way too dark. Returned them and found out the ones I wanted are either on backorder or discontinued.

So then I decided to paint my existing lights

Then found these used on craigslist and decided to try and take them apart and paint them

Those are still in pieces when I found the 06-11 taillights on craigslist

GOtta say I'm pretty happy with them. All I had to do was drill a hole in the bottom chamber to put the turn signals and modify the hole for the reverse lights to get the tabs to fit

.

JEEZ! you have done a ton of different taillights! lol

Looks good though, I basically did what you did with the A/R/W lights but I used niteshade and did a light coat over the amber and red.

Hey same truck as mine so gotta ask cause I bought some crap tails from andys automotive and they stink. Did your 06-11 tails matchup perfectly as far as no spaces between bed and housing along sides? Mine were so loose I just put stocks back on.

Yes, they mounted up perfect. The aftermarket lights I tried mounted up perfect as well. You might have just gotten a bad pair

Thanks. In person, they are a little dull. Could use another layer of clearcoat
