Just curious but have you considered the mounts out of a AWD Expo? I know they fit for a fact and the engine sits level.
Hmm, that's a good idea! Does anyone know if the engine cross members are the same on the TTB rangers like my 91, compared to torsion bar Rangers/Explorers though??

Or does anyone know if the Explorer 5 liter mounts would be more easily adaptable than the Mustang convertible pieces?

It is a plug and play application my friend. They share the same frame.

They are not exactly the same frame though. Can anyone 100% verify using complete unmodded sploder 5.0L mounts in a 91 style ttb setup? Because they are not even mentioned in the tech article for my generation truck v8 swap.. RangerSVT used just the plates of the sploder mounts in his ttb ranger... "I used the stock rubber 4.0L mounts and the explorer plates. The locator tabs on the rubber mounts were removed. The passenger side fit without any mods needed. The driver side did need trimming and one hole drilled." - RangerSVT.

I'm only guessing that he didn't use the complete Explorer 5 liter mounts because they wouldn't work. But that is just an assumption.
