I'm sure it's been asked 500 times, but I can't find much about it. My truck came with an already halfway-removed smog setup, with a bunch of hoses and lines hanging everywhere, and I want to bypass it and remove the pump while still having my ignition system function properly. Any way about it, or am I going to have to put as much money as I bought the truck for into Durasparking it? Couldn't I just rip half these vacuum lines out except for the ones that control the ignition advance (as far as I know) and the carburetor and just run those and plug everything else? I'm guessing it's far from that simple or we wouldn't be Durasparking these...
