Hello Everyone, new to the forum and I'm having an issue with my '97 (supercab, 4wd, 4.0, 5 speed)

I'm having an issue that is triggered by any of the following:
Turning headlight switch to turn headlights on (headlights only, not markers)
Flashing headlights, without headlight switch on, from the multifunction switch
Turning blower motor on

When I do any of the above, the radio/instrument cluster/heater controls lights go out, blower motor doesn't work, both blinker symbols light up on dash (solid, no flash) and rear blinker lights up (solid, no flash)

Park lamps still work, headlights still work, blinkers still work, hazards still work, etc.

I've tried a new multifunction switch, checked all fuses, tried operating the blower motor with both headlight and dimmer switch disconnected, etc, and no change.

Before this started I did remove two aftermarket gauges the PO installed (only connection to electrical system was jumper wires inserted in to backlight connector for heater controls). I also removed a switch/relay that was connected to a ground on one end and a single wire coming out of the relay under the glove box.

I'm stumped on this one so any help is appreciated.

Reads like a Ground is missing

Check back of drivers side head on engine, should be a Ground strap connected to firewall, make sure it is there and tight at both ends
This is the main ground for the cab electrics

Battery Negative-----------Engine----------ground strap-------Cab firewall

The painted cab sits on rubber mounts bolted to painted frame, so no good grounds there.
In the cab there are a few Ground points for the electrics, drivers side kick panel, passenger side as well
And one or two on firewall above brake pedal area I think
