Yeah. I might have lost my mind. I sure do regret selling old black widow a few years back. Life has taken me on quite a journey in the last 5 years. Moving out. Getting married. Lots of trucks have come and gone. But i always will have a place for that special truck.
With that in mind, I present to you. Black-Widow REBORN.
This truck started out as a 1988 Ranger XLT. I got the truck for next to nothing. The previous owner lost interest and sold it. He claimed the engine was rebuilt. But after about a week of driving. A very apparent main bearing rattle proved that to be false. But. This is the cleanest ranger in the northeast. ZERO RUST. No body damage. A good honest old truck.
So lets get to the pictures.
This is what i started out with.
This is how she sits currently.
And this will be its heart plant. A 350 shortblock. Modified vortec heads. With a port and polish. Mill. and roller rockers. Lunati voodoo 268 cam. Summit stage 3 intake. Holley 670 carb. 1 5/8 Headers. Backed by a TH700R4 with a 2500 stall converter.
And for a subtle reminder. This is what im going to mimic for those of you who dont remember blackwidow
