I've been looking off and on for the past few years for a Ranger. The right Ranger. I found one last week, and so here I am. It's a 1984 2.0l, 4 speed manual, 2wd, with ?52,000 miles, and in what appears to be good condition, considering our Ohio salt.

It is as no-frills as it gets. It had AC at one time, but the compressor is gone. I'm going to remove the rest of the components shortly. No power steering, no power brakes. Radio was removed as well. It seems to be somewhat Frankensteined. Mechanical fuel pump was replaced with an electric. Straight pipe instead of a catalytic converter. Lots of vacuum lines missing (maybe all?), and lots of unplugged electrical connectors. However, it starts right up, drives incredibly smooth, and did 65mph, while getting what appears to be right around 20mpg.

I've been lurking for a little while, seems there's pretty good info here. I'll be sure to post lots of questions, no doubt. :)

Looks nice but can we get a pic of the 752,000 mile odometer? [emoji43]

Oh sorry my phones a little dark. It says ?52,000. So its 52,000 miles? Or 152,000?

I think he means it's some hundred and 52,000 miles...gen I odometers only go up to 99,999...after that you're just guessing at the mileage :)
