I am installing lights for my trailer. its just the 4 way wires but I don't understand why both lights have 2 brown wires coming out of them. I am to assume that these are the same wire/circut, but I want to make sure before I connect these both together.

I am taking a guess here but since there are two lights within each brake light I am to assume that the brown wire branches off to control both of them.

The other brown is for attaching running lights.

Just tie both browns to the single brown feeding them.
