Has anyone put a 360 in their ranger and how do you like it I can get a pretty good deal or the motor trany and transfer I don't wana buy it if it's not a good swap

It will be a tight squeeze, 360 is the same block and heads as a 390 just has a shorter stroke, so it is a "big block" engine.

Small blocks fit but barely, i.e. 351w.

its a ford 360 yeah ive done a lot of research on it an its to much plus its the baby brother of the 390 with weaker rods and cam I'm not trying to build a fully custom mud rig to much fabrication for now and the frame isn't strong enough to hold its weight and torque all at once. the deal was good but not in the long run.

I appreciate the help. thanks for saving me from putting myself in the hole.
