Hey everyone. New to the group here. I recently picked up a 1983 ranger with the 2.2 perkins. The head was cracked so I found a donor engine not too far from me. I replaced the head and it will start up and run fine, it will drive fine, but if you let it go down to idle it will cut out and die. The idle is turned up as high as it will go. When I turn the bleed wing screw out on the primer and push the primer it will just blow air for a while then start squirting fuel. I repeated this process over and over thinking I had some air bubbles in the system but no success. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!
