Excellent suggestion, I'll find a pick n pull it somesuch around here and see what's up. This truck is so well kept and so new to me that it'll slowly drive me nuts that there's a minor issue like that and it'll be a fun day at the yard.

If you have a local pull a part or other self service junkyard, go and practice on a Ranger there and this way you won't tear yours up :)

I have never removed the ECU on mine.
