So 1999 b3000 flex. 5 speed
First issues was it started and idled fine. But when coasting to a stop I would push the clutch in and the idle would drop to maybe 400 the truck would bog for a second and it would go back to its normal idle. Otherwise the truck ran great and even passed a California smog with no issues.
I just assumed that the IAC motor was bad. So replaced with one from O'Reilly but it feels where that the connection is in a different location vs the OEM one. Nothing changed.
Cleaned the MAF with the correct cleaner no change
Check for vac leaks with propane and brake/carb cleaner. found nothing
Replaced pcv, along with removing throttle body, I cleaned the throttle body and the orignal IAC. New gaskets. Now im having an issue where the truck wants to idle high. Normal start up and cold running at about 1500rpm but now the truck wants to idle at 1300 rpms all the time. If its warm and I let it sit at idle it might go down to 1000 after about 60 seconds of sitting.
I then put the new IAC back on and it does the same thing.
In about 30mins im going to go out and let the truck warm up and unplug the IAC to see what result I get. Anyone have any ideas on this? Im running out of ideas.
