What do you love about your Ranger?

In response to the "What do you hate about your Ranger" thread, I'm equally interested in knowing the flip side of that question. Surely everybody on this forum doesn't own one to address some weird, masochistic, self loathing issue because Ranger ownership satisfies their need for punishment and pain. Do they??? LOL. I love my Ranger because: 1. It's a Ford 2. I like the way it looks 3. It's rugged and reliable. 4. It's paid for.

The 7' bed, tan interior and manual transmission, which I hear are relatively rare. Not to mention, Rangers are no longer made.

Well, I'm pretty sure I do own mine to satisfy my sadomasochistic side, but I love it because it's mine. I don't think anyone out there has one exactly like her.

Yes, S&M was a very attractive feature of my Ranger...seats and mirrors...after I swapped them out, that is...

I really love my whole Ranger because...well, I slept with it most nights...in my dreams...because I built it from the wheels up...twice...and because I learned so much about fixing things...some new swear words and how to string them together until the worst of the pain from mashing something passes...

It is an appealing truck...something about how everything fits kinda nice...and the 96 dash that I want to upload pics of...

Only cost me $500, gives me something to fix up in my off time, can see myself doing a lot of mods to this in the future.....and they aren't made anymore.

Are B2 guys aloud in this thread? I may drive an F150 but my B2 is back home still. I would say how cozy it was inside when i was in my B2 with the heaters on in the winter was like sitting in front of the fire sipping a cup of hot chocolate when its snowing outside. Yeah me and my B2 had a strange and often strained relationship but we got along most of the time.

I love it because I just don't see too many around me. The 7 ft bed is great, it keeps going regardless of age and milage too...Now if I could just stop finding so much rust, I'd be even happier. I'll have my work cutout for me once i dig into this thing more than I already have.

I also spent 1200 bucks on it 5 years ago. Dead reliable too!

I do think it's odd that the quote with two has marks denotes the shorter unit.
