I have a 1991 Ford Ranger, and have recently developed some weird taillight issues. My right rear turn signal does not work, however all of the other turn signals work. Additionally, the right rear brake light does not work, yet the other brake light does. When I turn on my headlights, both rear lights are illuminated normally. Finally, my hazards only work so long as I am not depressing the brake, otherwise they are stuck on. Could someone with a better understanding of Ranger wiring tell me what to try?

Welcome to The Ranger Station!

Your turn signal/stop lamps are dual filament lamps.
It appears that your right rear lamp has its Stop/Turn filament burnt out.

If replacing that lamp does not fix it, you may have a bad lamp socket in that position.

Parking lamps are a seperate circuit.
Stop and Turn uses the same filament in the lamp.

It is normal for the 4 way flasher to stop flashing when you press the brake pedal.

Well, I got in the truck to drive to the parts store and buy a new bulb, and they started working again, as if nothing had happened. I guess I'll keep an eye on it and try the bulbs/sockets if it starts acting up again.
Thanks for the help!
