Thanks. I disconected the battery for a few minutes and that fixed it. Ck engine light is now off. With a new PCM, and if a good sensor is installed, the dirty contact or frayed wire should be it. But this is the wacked out ran
ger. I suspect none of this. I'm not reasured at all they fixed anything at Ford. It started again all on its own but I am short $2100 now.
That sensor looks pretty tight to replace. I watched. Youtube video on it and have the method to do it if I need to.
Although the light was on, it ran great and restarted many times. Normally, if the light comes on for a po340 code, will it begin to run badly and then end up not starting?
