I have found where I can but the Classic Cragar wheels for my Ranger but they start at 15" and go up from there so my question is what is the biggest 15" tire can I run on my truck without having rubbing issues with the front tires when turning. Stock tires are 195/70/14

My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
Hi and welcome to TRS.

There are a bunch of tech articles on this site with loads of invaluable information about these vehicles. If you look up at the top of the page, just under the banner, the third tab from the left is the link to get you there. To help out a bit, HERE (click me) is a link to a page specific to what you are asking.

Others may still chime in with their experiences. But this gets you some info quickly.

Also, when asking questions, be sure to include info about your Ranger, so that the right info can be given without people having to ask "What year/model/engine/4X4 or 2wd/engine size/transmission, etc.
Many Rangers came with 15" wheels, so that should not be a problem. In most cases, you want the lug pattern to be "5 on 4.5" which means 5 lugs on a 4.5" diameter circle. I think 3.5" backspacing is normal, but 4" will often work well. There will be many tire sizes that will fit. The chart I referred you to will help with that. There is another chart under another HERE that will give info about engine speed vs mph for various tire sizes.

sorry for not including the info the first time. It is a 94 2.3 2wd with stock 195/70R14 tires and wheels on it.

You can fit upto a 30" without rubbing. 31s will fit but rub when wheels are at full turn lock (personal experience)

235/75/15 is the most popular size that fits good. Looks good. And doesn't kill off what little power the 2.3 has to offer.

My credo
the grey-t escape
right now im running 255/70/15's on stock 15" deer paw rims. fronts rub a little on sway bar at full lock, but rarely do i ever have it turned to full lock. tires are basically the same size as a 235/75/15 but wider. 29" tall i beleive. im running 4.10 gears and the combination seems to work well. my stock gearing was 3.45 and was awful, with the stock 225/70/14's it felt like i had a trailer hooked on all the time.
