hey so im having problems with my rear axle and its finally time to fix it again. But this time I want to do it right so im not doing it any down the road. So the problems im having right now is I cant seem to stop my 9" axle seals to stop leaking and the bearings keep making noises and gettting ruined. I know wheeling would do that but I have only wheeled it 3 times since putting it back together.
So I was wondering if the problem is my brake set-up. I have explorer disk brakes on it. I have the explorer mount (which is 3/8 thick) between the axle retaining plate and the end of the axle. Would this cause the seals and bearing not to sit properly?
Thats the only thing I can think is causing the problem. If so is there anything I can do to fix it?
Thanks
