There needs to be better options for stickers. I never found one out of the few they offer that I just had to have. I'm all for supporting it but I don't like a bright blue sticker on a green truck. Things need to match and the sticker selection sucks.
Two words - Vinyl Wrap. Wrap the entire truck in one gigantic TRS decal. There, problem solved.

Settled for now on black rails and black painted wheels (stock, I know, UGH). Threw on some anchors and a black grille.

Found some interesting stuff when I pulled off the grille!
...a second radiator?? And a LOT of dead bees in it. The truck had a hive in it.

Front end damage. The bumper sags, so I knew something had happened at one point.

More front end damage

Anyway, as it stands.

I like simple, and that's exactly what your truck is. I love it. If it was my truck, I don't know that I'd do too much more to it, but it's no my truck, it's yours.

One thing I *would* do is a tonneau cover. I'd probably go with one of the vinyl roll up ones. That way you can still put stuff in the bed during wet weather, and you can roll it up when you want to carry something that won't fit under it. I might also add a bed liner, if it doesn't already have one.

Some people like window visors on the door windows. Yes, I do think they look good. I'm not sure that I'd put them on my vehicle, though.

Thanks. Think I'll leave it as is for now.

My credo
Break it right the first time. Fix it better the next time.
If you get window visors get the in channel ones. They are better looking and you can roll your window down a little further and still be protected.

Better than a bed cover- I got a truck tent for my BDAY over the weekend!! Not the same use, I know, but I"m pretty stoked about it. :icon_hornsup:

Everything matches as long as you don't care about matching ::icon_thumby:

:nono:That's a neat idea. I'd really like to see it on your Ranger, though, rather than on a GM truck :barf: (WHAT?! All those funny icons, and some of them are, and there's no barf icon? What kind of establishment is this?!)

Yea I'll get a photo next time we go camping. Also thinking I should just replace my tailpipe. Took a look today and its pretty dang rusty! Also spent a plane ride looking into painting the valve covers...

Not the best photos, but here's the exhaust, rusty and gross. Looks welded along the way so I'll have to replace the whole thing. Hope it's not some weird custom job- never done exhaust before.

That looks fairly normal for an old exhaust pipe. Normal as in if there aren't any holes in it, and the truck isn't loud, I wouldn't worry about replacing it.

I haven't looked at mine closely, but I suspect that it looks fairly similar, and my truck is quiet.

I mean it's a little loud for sure, but I don't know if it's loud because the exhaust is pooping out or if it's because of the type of exhaust the PO put on. The driver side pipe is clearly mcgyuvered on by someone.

From what I can see, I suspect it's loud because of the type of exhaust. The pipe *looks* fine to me, but I'm only seeing a picture, and I'm not 100% sure what a fine exhaust that has aged should look like.

Until it falls off, at least now it's painted!
