Ok so I just got back to working on the Bronco II since I have been dealing with the Explorer and ranger.
I have a 84 Bronco II 4x4 TK5 2.8L with new key cylinder, ignition control module, plugs, good battery, new plug wires, cap and rotor.
I have tried 3 different starter solenoids and all do the same exact thing. One of them I know for sure works as it came off my 88 F150 which used to run before it threw a rod.
I plugged in a brand new from O'rielly ignition switch and pushed it to see if it would start and no go.
Now if I jump the starter solenoid with a screwdriver or whatever she will crank and start up as long as she is in the on position on the key.
However if I turn the key she won't crank or anything. Only a clicking noise on the passanger side from a relay.
What in the world is causing this?
