I've got a '92 ext cab, the interior door latch has a cable instead of a rod. Ford doesn't make them anymore I almost choked the guy at the dealership when he told me that, they make a shitty cable that snaps all the time then wont even sell a replacement. anyways so far ive had my 92' for a year and snapped 3 cables now I cant even find one at the wrecker. I bought a pushrod door latch, rod and handle from an 89' and im going to see if it fits to eliminate the p.o.s. bicycle cable retard design. Has anyone else done this? am I going to rip apart my whole door and have it not fit?
