Will a 5spd manual trans from a 2001 2.3 duratec bolt up to my 2.3 1993 5spd?

No, wrong bolt pattern.

M5OD-R1 from a 2.3l or 2.5l Lima engine are the only ones that will fit, they have a unique bolt pattern
Called the Lima Pattern, 2.0l Lima was in there as well but wouldn't be an M5OD-R1 trans

Duratec I4 pattern was used on the 2.3l Mazda L engine, mid-2001 and up Rangers

Also needs to match 2WD or 4WD, they can be converted but better to get what you need stock.

And just as a "heads Up"
In 1998 the speedometer cable hookup was taken off the 2WD transmissions, 4WD had it on transfer case
Your 1993 needs that hook up, so if 2WD then look for 1997 or earlier M5OD-R1, which would be 2.3l only, 2.5l started in 1998
