I beat the crap out of my dewalts almost daily in a commercial use setting and they rock. Have some black and decker clones too, all the parts interchange just different colored caseing.

Makitas are good too, that's what I have. It was a gift, but I've seen them for around $80. Bosch grinders are good too, a little while ago I saw a deal at Home Depot that had 2 Bosch grinders with 4 grinding discs and a diamond wheel for $80.

Any major tool brand should be good and if you don't need it right away, I'd get if online. That's what I try to do if I know what I want and can wait a few days for it.

Found a set on amazon that sears and lowes both sell for $110 for $79. Usually the difference is in shipping but I can get free shipping on it.

Once you think about it that's about I'm going to pay for this one, if I bought 50 wheels after. Probably a little cheaper, but I get a case with this one.

Mastercraft as a name is made only for Canadian tire, yes, but Craftsman tools found at Sears are the exact same product with a different name stamped on it.

I have a shitty Black And Decker one outta Walmart, and its gotten some good use over 2 years, still going strong, only cost $28.

The dewalts and mikitas are good if you are going to use it every single day, for like a work tool or something, but for weekend use the extra quality they provide isn't worth the price, a cheap one will do you fine, just make sure you get one with some sort (even like 2 years) warranty, in case you get a bad one and it breaks fast.

Edit - As noted, Mastercraft/Craftsman tools are the shit and carry some of the best warranties in the business.

You cant beat a Milwaukee grinder. The Plant I used to work at gave all the welders Milwaukees for weld finishing and final prep before powder coating. They were all but gentile with them, they dropped them more times then I care to count but they held up pretty well. Yes the housings would break but repeated drops onto a concrete floor all day long will eventually do that. They are easy to fix, and parts are pretty easy to get. I've had mine for a few years and it has never had any problems.
