I like keeping a little shitbox car to run around in. Don't have to be in love with it--just drive it and save money on gas. I only use the truck when I need a truck.

I tried the shitbox car thing... it lasted 2 months and the trans was smoked, engine was burning oil and the rust holes in the floor got "heel'd" out to pop can size lol! Thank you '94 escort for being a disposable pile. My truck on the other hand, she is treated like a beauty queen that occasionally gets tossed in the dirt... hard.

Yes, thats what I need. A shitbox car, but I cant add anymore to my car farm without selling one of them. I am just gonna get some smaller tires for driving my truck to school. That should help with gas a bit.

Since I only put about 50 miles a week on it I run around in my dually....... I would still do it if it had a 460 gasser.

But, I have an s10 blazer, a lincoln continental, a porche, and ofcourse my wife's prius..... Got em all covered.

Oh just keep it. I went without a truck once for 20 months. The I got the Ranger. Now that it's close to 20 years old they stop making Rangers in about a month.

So, I have to keep it.

Yep, keep it...... Its a situation where you would rather have a pick up and not need/drive it than need it and not have it.

The reason that I got my "little" Ranger is because it gets about as good a mileage as a POS car, has a frame, has a function etc.. Get a cheap little short box, reg cab, 4 cyl 5 speed Ranger and be done with it. My weekly commute is 700 miles in it.
