ok people, i'm going to be getting my tattoo worked on in the next few weeks, it's the old ford V8 symbol, it was done by one artist who butchered it severely...
the tattoo is supposed to look like chrome, which the guy did NOT do, he just used grey scale and took a crap on my back, what you can see in the picture is about 3.5 hours of work (about an hour and a half of touchup) it looked even worse to begin with...
ok, so now that you've seen the tattoo, how should it get fixed? i've heard several things from several people, from the guy who's doing my arm saying put browns, and blacks and greens in the bottoms, and blues and maybe purples in the top portion with white in the middle, to give it the reflection, other people saying a light blue on top with starbursts to look like it's gleaming, and a third guy (the one i spoke to yesterday) saying that he just wants to do heavy on black on the bottom and keep it grey scale...
i want to hear from people who actually know about tattooing... not just your opinion, i would like to know what WILL work...
this is the kind of effect i'm going for...
ok, GO!
