Congratulations!! I picked up that same tool in anticipation of other things it will not work on the air conditioning quick connects it is too thick
That's good to know. I still have the cheapo plastic ones. I got the plastic ones to start with because they were clearance at harbor freight for around $2. I'm a tool hoarder so it never hurts having more tools. Even if I only use one tool once in my life it will be cheaper than taking it in to a shop and having them fix it.

My credo
I brake for leaves that could be frogs
I use the harbour freight scissor tool as well. The only issue I had with mine is it just would not go into the fitting. So I tapered the edge in the vice with a small file.. and presto.. it works like a charm.

I hope that's sarcasm. lol. Should say that more often when people want an oil change. "Did you car tell you it was ready for one?"

They do that now . . .
My gf has a '17 GMC Denali, (yeah, nice ride), it indicates on the panel if something is too close, you are going too fast, if the tire is low and when the oil needs changed . . .

It's beautiful to drive, but acts like a nagging wife sometimes.
