The driver side panel of my rear window is broken. I've looked and everyone has a comment about what years fit what and slandered cab vs extended cab but its all focused on '93 and up and '98 and up. I have a '92 extended cab with a single sliding window and need to know what other years fit my truck. Does anyone have any idea?

Look here http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/fr/full.aspx?Page=97 and that should tell you what you need to know.

But, if it was mine I would go to a local "small" glass shop and have them make me one. It is probably the same size as the other one. I bet there are darn few left in the yards.

LMCtruck is a good place for most stuff but some of their stuff is kind of generic "you need to make it fit" and their rear glass is a double slider. I'm trying to keep my truck as stock as possible. There are 3 yards near me that i could pull from and I have found several on craigslist but all are late 90's or early 2000's which is fine if they fit. Just hate to waist my time or people's if it's not going to fit.

The LMC reference was to tell you what years they thought were the same. The reference to a local small time glass guy was because I (over 55 years of doing this) have found them willing to work with you to get the job done. I would bet a pay check (if I got one, I'm retired) that the right and left side glass is the same. So the local guy will be able to make one for you!!!

as a complete rear window assembly,

1983-2011 extended cabs
98 to 2011 regular cabs are interchangeable..

83-97 regular cabs are a different rear window and will not work.....
