I think you should address the steering... do you drive it on the street?

Yes Sr. It is my dd! I don´t feel the truck that bad.
In fact, I don´t know what´s wrong with this? what are the failures on this?

Here's my 87 with a 5.0, ZF 5 speed , 1/2 ton running gear, 4.56's lock-rite in the front and open in the rear. 6" lift 64" Chevy leafs in the rear, 6"lift skyjacker coils.
I'm not happy with the front though so I'm gonna extend the radius arms and put Johnny joints on them. Also gonna change the coils to something softer. I ordered some eb coils last week.
I'm also gonna convert the motor over to efi. I ordered a explorer intake last week too. Lots of plans and almost no time to work on it the past couple months due to work.

Can you get a pic or two of it sitting on all 4 do the tires stick out past the bedsides?

You bet! This is when I was putting the bed sides on.

Here is the front. I still haven't finished reshaping the front of the fender in this one. But it shows the tire.

I like the fiberglass sides and fenders. That setup sounds awesome too! Nice work!

Thanks! I've put a ton of time into it. I just changed the oil pump and coil springs in it tonight. It sets how I wanted it to now. The only problem is now I have two issues.

The driver side motor mount is sagging which has caused the driver side header to hit the steering rag joint.

The track arm is now hitting my pitman arm because the front end is setting lower.

I'm picking up a full acetylene tank tomorrow and I'll be able to build a track arm mount bracket and build a bracket to lift the motor mount up a inch.

Thanks man I was thinking of going with 4" bedsides but I think I might have to go with the 6" ones. You won't be the only 1st gen rockin glass for long!:headbang:

Ha ha oh well. It was bound to happen sooner or later.
You'll have to extend your filler hose by 3-4" I just used a piece of exhaust pipe and a couple hose clamps.

Thanks for the info. I've always wanted to but never knew how it'd look on a truck that wasnt a "prerunner". Then I seen some on a mj and thought I wonder how it'd look on a ranger.
