I have a line on a 60/40 bench out of an '87, and since I want buckets I thought I would do the infamous conversion. The seats are blue, and I doubt they are in perfect shape and I will need covers get them to match my tan interior anyway.

I have had generic seat covers before, both for the buckets in my Laser and the bench currently in the truck, and I never have gotten them to fit really well. Who makes the best fitting ones for the 60/40 conversion buckets?

If I understand the question you want seat covers for when your 60/40 becomes a bucket? If so any high back cover will work. If you are wanting a cover for a normal 60/40 then I'd go to eBay. They have tons of em and I got a great deal on one before I converted mine into a bucket.

I just wanted to know if some brands fit better than others. The ones I had in my Laser went straight across the part you sit in and lean back in rather than attempt to contour to it. My heft took care of the seat part but you still had to push yourself into the backrest.
