buddy has a 93 ranger with what he claims is a six inch lift, he barely clears my 33's with it with no fender trimming. i clear the same 33's with a 2 inch body lift. the lift bracket has been broken and re-welded like 3 times, but they never put any reinforcements or gussets on it.

the springs are pretty soft, when going over kelly humps in 1st and 4 low he can compress the spring all the way to the bump stops.

ive read the article on fixing the broken brackets, but i dont think i want 6 inchs of lift, maybe 4 inchs. could a drill a new hole in the brackets for a 4 inch lift?

im really only asking because he only wants 200$ for the whole kit with beams and pumpkin.

the shocks say skyjacker and the coils are red but i dont think the lift is skyjacker

For $200, buy it. You can always resell it with no loss, or even a profit, if its not exactly what you want.

Don't most drop brackets have 2 sets of holes for 4" or 6"? Unless it's a plate style anyway.

Many do, but not all.

Drilling another hole is usually possible, though you might want to check the brackets first to be sure there's room for it.
