I might try that...thought maybe WD40 might work too...whole containers of nuts and bolts that were not sealed properly are also a nice orange/brown ooze of liquid and rust...I hope I won't need most of them because I stripped two complete vehicles to get them...

Vinegar bath...vinegar has been getting plenty of good press lately...an old fashioned remedy for just about anything still prevails...:)

After you are finished with it pour it over weeds you want to kill.
