If this has been discussed I apologize but I've searched and cannot find a straight answer. Can you run a/c on a 302 swap, without a body lift? And if you can, what brackets, compressor do you use? And how much must the box itself be modified?

Im currently in the process of doing an efi swap in a 92 with AC. The box has to be cut a bit and im using 87-93 mustang brackets and accessories. Moving the Ranger condenser in front of the radiator and have the lines made. And I have no body lift.

very possible.

using a sploder setup can simplify it.

most 5.0 donor setup can be used as is with modded hose ends, generally can retain donor condensor as well.

the ac box can be cut down with a l shaped metel piece fitted...glassed...hot molded or whatever you want to do....

So is there a bracket that will keep the compressor on the pass side? I really don't wanna get into having to modify hoses and what not, and my condensor is infront of the radiator on mine

the 79-83/5 box style crown vics have passenger side ac. but usually those are duel belt.

kind of a funky setup but it works

the 351 box vics had a different setup on some. not sure the years.
