nothing in the tech library and the forum search came up with using the ones off the 1995-6 Mustangs. well, around here, anything older than 10 years has gone to the crusher for the most part. yeah, this is the heart of the "rust belt" up here. are there any other alternator suggestions? i know most of the newer cars and trucks use the serpentine belts/pulleys that won't work on my old ranger. can the oem alternators be rebuilt to put out more amps without unreasonably high rpms being needed? hate the thought of having to go to NAPA and order a 1995-6 Mustang 130 amp alternator! :annoyed:

93-97 taurus 3.0 used a 130 amp alternator that should bold right in you just need to swap the pulley.
