While drilling through the floor (long story) of my 99 xcab B3000 I went right through a bundle of wires running to the back of the cab under the drivers seat to the back wall. I had a buddy and he was in the cab while I was drilling from underneath and there was an obvious miss communication about what I meant by 3 inches to the left...
No big deal, cut a 2 inch section out of the harness and started splicing them back together by color code. Most od the wires are speakers, light and 3rd brake light. I matched all but 3, and they are all black wires... I don't have a proper multi meter and an not sure where to start. I've looked at a couple of wiring diagrams, but to little help.
Is it possible these are all ground wires and it doesn't matter and long as they are terminated? Any reason Ford chose to do this to me?
