Texas can take it from the LA border and back up to Dallas, near Oklahoma, maybe even Arkansas.

DG, were you talking about just a meetup at the LA/Texas border, and running the Banner eastward through LA again?

Repost from the Southern Midwest forum:

If Ben eventually relays it to you, I can pick it up from you on the border.

I can then run it to Robertc1024 in New Braunfels or Armadillon in Austin. There's also another guy in Austin, but he's a flake. Armadillon could probably run it north to MastuhWaffles, who could meet HazmatRanger or Kryptonite.

Subplan A:
From Dallas, it could be run elsewhere again (back through Oklahoma/Arkansas/Tennessee and up for the upper Midwest guys).

Subplan B:
I make trips to Dallas/Fort Worth, so the Banner being lost/retrieving it is very, very unlikely to happen. If the Banner needs to come back south from Dallas to Houston, I can bring it back over to Louisiana.

DG, do you know if Cajun is still around?

There's a lot of members on the map, but only ony one has shown interest (Mac). Unless we have more interest, it'll have to fly south, unless it makes its way back up through Arkansas. I'd be happy to pick it back up and run it north or east to another member...

SVT

Here's what I can do (unless my father-in-law's health gets worse).....

I can meet 4.0B2 in Jackson Mississippi when we set up a day and time to meet for the hand-off.........

I can bring it west to the Texas border and hand it off to the Texans....

I can even go back to the Texas border to pick it up again when the Texans get finished with it.....

I can even bring it to Mississippi and hand it off to anyone there who wants to pick it up.......

(But my father-in-law is very sick, so it would be nice if another Louisiana Member could be a back-up driver.....just in case)

Looking good. Glad to see the banner finally got past the rockies LOL. Course now that its gone my B2 is in better running condition and not changing its own oil anymore, oh well guess if it happens to make a 2nd pass through Idaho I may have to make a road trip and see how far I can go before the ole B2 has a catastrophic failure of some sort. So far so good, just the same ole rust bucket.

Also, something I've noticed lately here where I live, there are at least a dozen B2's running around or at least are still in existence. And hundreds of Rangers and Explorers. However, none of them are members of TRS apparently or there would have been a better meet here in SW Idaho. Wait...most of the people here where I live probably couldn't operate a computer and find this forum :(.

I just got a laptop back in the day and found the Ranger Station by accident....I was looking up military history at the time and thought The Ranger Station was a website for former Army soldiers.......

4.0B2.......do you have an idea of when we could meet and make the hand-off?

I have to bring my father-in-law to the doctor and hospital every week....

so I wanted to start working on a plan with you in case RangerSVT decides NOT to pick it up from you to go in another direction with it.

I start my new job the 28th, so times have gotten crazy for me.

Might have to head down to Jackson after church on the 27th? That'd put me in Jackson at like 3:30pm? Idk yet but that looks best so far

annnnnnnnd I'm booked up for Easter weekend with the family and in-laws (& out-laws).

and in the meantime the TEXAS boys can form a plan to meet me at the Texas border after the 27th.

Well I could see how one would think that initially. However I bet it didn't take long to realize it had nothing to do with the military, although I'm sure there are many members of the forum who are currently serving or who have served.
