Hello. I have a current thread going about my temp gauge so I started another not to complicated that one. Hope this is ok..:dunno:..Anyway, my '91Ranger 3.0 will do ok driving around and even will idle, but if I engage A/C and drive a while ,it runs hot. I mean HOT!!! Boiling back thru expansion tub. I'll let it cool down, refill and as long as I don't engage the A/C ,it'll do fine. Will unconnected vacuum hoses cause this problem as I have rotted out lines that's not connected but the truck seems to run ok without them being hooked up. What am I missing not having them hooked up? Also, where can I get "drop in" type hoses to replace the broken ones? Thanks..!

How's your clutch fan?

Ac systems is in front of the radiator so if the ac system is make heat the goes into the radiator and the out.

I only think the heater control valve vacuum line would because when your ac systems I'd on heat is to.
