I'm in the process of getting my bronco II ready to go back on the road come spring. I ordered most of the parts to redo the brakes but now I'm at the booster/master which needs to be changed out as well.

All the parts I bought (caliper, brake hose, rotors, etc) are for a 1984 model. I was also considering changing the hard lines out as well since I'm replaceing pretty much everything else but not sure on those just yet.

So the question is since the 84 uses that metal brake master and the 86? & up use that nice plastic one I wanted to see if I could upgrade as I'm doing all this. Does the newer master/booster work with the 84 proportioning valve correctly? Do all the hard lines have the right fitting to simply screw everything right in?

Thanks
