I have an 02 extended cab ranger, but the back panels around the speakers are a bit shaky...

has anyone done anything like put foam or padding behind the panel to reduce any vibration? Also, I'm not sure how the panels are held down... bolts? would rubber washers do the trick?

Also, would anyone know if this would help keep more sound inside the cab and maybe give a very slight bass boost?

Sound deadner. Take off the panels and put it on the metal and then put the panels back on. That will keep the sound in and provide more bass. Also you can put it on areas that need some padding to stop the raddleing.

Know of any inexpensive sources for Dynamat, or a good-quality alternative?

paint on or stick on. LOADS of different types.

and plus you just buy by the foot or gallon. i ONLY use this stuff, works FANTASTIC, fast shipping, and the stock on stuff stays stuck forever!

if you decide to put this stuff all in your truck great! but PLZ put it on the inside of your door skin, not the bracing behind your door panel. it vibrates the skin, not the braces
