So there may be an article on this already but I'm new to what I'm about to do. I may have to put a new 4.0 in my 2005 Ranger due to the timing chain rattling around in there after a violent surge of rpms. (hit 7k) Any way what all should I go on and replace while the engine is out? Are there any routine components that I should get first?
