So on my 2.9 hot do you change the line to the regulator? It looks like new one dont come with the quick disconnect line? I plan on doing this soon along with a new ect sensor and switching back to 192 thermostat i think.

Also another question completely off this topic is the flange for a warner ibid turbo the same as a t3 downgrade on the 2.3. I'm looking at a header for my turbo coupe engine soon to be in a ranger when I find one. Anyone know of a 1993-97 ranger for sale near Kentucky or 40229?

It's easiest to do the quick connects if you can find the tool to do it.

What I did though, because I was in a bind, is to fit the old nylon fuel line over the barbs. I didnt see a point to removing the quick connects and I had slack.

Just make sure that when you put on the new regulator that you take care not to ruin that new O-Ring. It doesnt take much to start leaking.

When i changed the FPR i didnt have the quick disconnect tool i managed to do it with a stiff piece of card board. I ripped off a strip and wrapped it around the line and slid it up under the spring that retains the connect in place. I then pulled it a part it took a few tries but was not rocket science after i read how the spring works. I think a piece of plastic from a milk jug cut into a strip would have worked better. the length would be just enough to wrap around the line with minimal amount of over lap and about a inch wide.
