HEY
I know a lot of people will avoid this thread just because of the chevy...but. Anyone know of any headers taht will fit in my 86 Ranger with a 305? Anyone done a 305 or 350 swap and used headers. Right now I am running stock Grand Prix manifolds that are just a straight single chamber manifold that runs right under the valve cover=they have no flow. I can raise the motor a good inch to and 1 1/2 if needed. Any ideas other than custom made? Thanks everybody.

I have shorties on my 94, driverside is 88up truck and pass. side is block hugger, but it had to be modified as the collector flange hit the crossmember:




I've also known people to use V8 S10 headers.

thanks man for the pics...your engine is mounted a lot higher than mine. I used stock Grand Prix mounts and welded them. I love your mounts though. judging by the driver side mine is about an inch and a half lower... you can imagine my problem. Ill get a better look tommorow and try to post some pics if i can figure it out. Its supposed to be above freezing...YAY!!!

Cleaned & fresh paint:

Additions: Weiand 7506 high rise intake, M/T valve covers (had em hangin in the garage for the last 6yrs waitin for a home) & made the motor plate...

and then the passenger side collector..notice the frame notch.



I got a new dress up kit for it too because I left the hood open in the rain while running for parts. oops.
