Trying to change my valve cover gaskets in my '94 3.0L, I bought the gaskets and took everything apart only to discover that I had the wrong gaskets, Ordered the other set that the store offered, from the older model 3 liter, and they don't fit either. As far as I know its the stock engine, if anybody has any insight into my predicament it would be greatly appreciated as my trucks been apart for 3 days now and my patience is wearing thin.

thanks

Felpro part # VS 50374 R

That is the only one that I can find for a 94 Ranger with a 3.0

Pretty simple for a V6. I doubt you have a 2.8, so that leaves either a swapped 2.9, 3.0, or 4.0. 2.9 will say 2.9 on the intake, 3.0 will say 3.0 on the valve cover, and 4.0 is neither of those two.

Look at the Vin number to see if the 10 didgit is an "X". If it is then you have a 4.0
