I was looking at the diagrams last night but was not real clear. Not sure without looking at my truck but did you guys check the condition of the power input wire to the ecu? It also looks like there are a few grounds to check.

It's running better and so far the only issue is the emission light flashes all the time

I agree with Terry. I had similar problem. After checking everything I decided to change the fuel pump relay and found the old one full of corrosion which resulted in low voltage to the fuel pump because of the bad connection. Ron D sent me instructions on how to by pass the relay and check the fuel pump ( don't know where I have them now). Ron is pretty much an expert and very knowledgeable. I trust his recommendations.

I will have to look at codes. The fuel pumps and filter are brand new. Only problem now is emission light and hard start but runs a whole lot better now.
