As the title says, will a 2004 tilt steering column work in a 99? The 99 2wd I bought desperately needs a tilt column. I'm watching one on eBay that SAYS it's compatible 99-10, but I want to confirm with the experts that all the electrical plugs will work as they should. The column and my truck are both stickshift columns.

I would say yes

Try: https://www.car-part.com/

It was showing up to 2005 as crossovers, for manual trans with tilt, but not for automatics

Also check for cruise or no cruise if you are keeping steering wheel and clockspring

So I did end up finding a manual tilt column from an 02 today.

Is it possible to put in a switch from a later ranger, that angles up instead of down?

I should have just grabbed one, but I ran out of time
