Hi.
I have a problem with the ignition cylinder on my 1988 XLT. Currently, the ignition works without a key, so I'm trying to put in a new ignition cylinder. I already took it off, but the problem comes when trying to put the new one since the key just doesn't turn to the off position so I can take the key out.
Just to make sure I tried turning left the piece at the bottom of the inside of the cylinder with a
screwdriver (red circle) but I couldn't, it feels a bit floppy tho.
Now I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if I need to change something else on the steering column.
Thanks
