I'm bagging a 97 ranger splash and was wondering if anyone knew of any smaller boosters that can be used to help with wheel clearance?

My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
Seems like I read something about a different booster a few months ago. But converting to full manual brakes would eliminate the booster altogether. The trick is finding the right master cylinder to give you adequate braking power for safety. Do a search h of our forums. I know I read some cool info about this.

I think Hydrovac boosters are still available. They can be mounted away from the usual location.

Also think about a hydroboost conversion possibly from an Astro van. They give even better braking and do not have that huge vacuum booster to contend with.

I put a booster from a 84 b2 in my 91 low buck race truck for better clearance. Shaved about 2" off, but diameter stayed about the same.
I believe there is pics in my build thread...
