When the dealer says "just get one and try it", that's never a good sign.
Wanting to change my fuel filler neck/tube due to issues when filling the tank and getting codes. Already done this on a 97, figured no biggie to get parts for my 99...apparently I was wrong.
Truck is a 1999 , styleside, extended cab, flex fuel, 126" wheelbase.
Everything I (and the dealer even) can find says for 118" wheelbase. The OEM was a one piece unit and discontinued so I have to get the hose and the filler neck separately.
Dealer *thinks* the Spectra FNH015 is the right hose. Then narrowed it down to either the Precision Fuel Tank Filler Neck FF551 (O reilly) or the Spectra Premium FN551 (rock auto) as possibly the actual neck. But I would rather not guess if someone knows off hand what's right so....anyone have an idea?
