Been working on this thing for close to a year now. Trying to make it I to a reliable DD and back up kid hauler, but I've run into a snag. I can't find any help figuring out a legal and self doable way of putting 3 point belts in for the rear seats, without being accused of child endangerment, so this thing is going up for sale or trade. Words first, pictures later.

Started off as a true 4x2. Transmission was donated for an auto to manual swap, motor was already bad. A seat of 86ish 4x4 axles were swapped in that had 4.10s and a limited slip in the rear. Then it was an empty shell for 20 years. I put a 2.9 in it, with an M5OD from my 94 explorer, with a 1354M case. Put new rod and main bearings in the motor, new oil pump, and new rear seal. It wasnt leaking, but I was there. New spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor. New thermostat, radiator hoses, heater hoses, and heater core. Put new alternator and P/S belts on as well. Resurfaced the flywheel from the explorer, installed a new clutch, new pilot bearing, and all new clutch hydraulics. Has new front brake calipers on it, and pads to be put on, new rear shoes, rear wheel cylinders, hardware, drums, and brake cables. Has new brake hoses front and rear, and a new brake master cylinder. I have new wheel bearings for the front, but was waiting to get it on the road, and see how the rotors on it were before installing. Current rotors looked good thickness wise, just had rust on them from sitting. Old pads had some life left, so I was using them to test and clean the rotors with. Has new air shocks in the rear to help the sagging leaf springs, and I've got new shocks for the front, I just haven't installed them yet. Carpet has been removed and floor in the front painted. Original seats and console were replaced with a bench style, which seams to have come from an explorer as the passenger side doesn't go forward went you lean it up. Front seats don't match the rears, but I was looking into replacing it with either a narrowed suburban 3rd row, or pickup buckets, to gain shoulder belts. Needs a front bumper, may have one on it before much longer. Has new outside mirrors from LMC. Also has access hole cut in the back for fuel pump.

$4500 cash, or trade for similar value. Only trades would be 4x4 trucks or suv's with rear seats and shoulder belts. As you will see from the pictures, I am very much a function over form type of person, and have put every effort into making this as safe and reliable as possible from the get go. It still needs a few things: heater mode cable rixed, front fender liners bolted in, air intake installed, grill installed, radio installed, and headlights and turn signals fixed, pretty sure both are just the switch. Has a push button to jump where the clutch switch should be, this was just cheaper initially, so it could use a clutch switch.

Im sure ive forgotten something, so please message me directly with questions, I'll add information I have left out as anyone asks. I'd prefer to keep the thread clear for any added info so additions don't get lost in a sea of comments.
