I'm curious if a Bronco II body would bolt on to a Ranger GT chassis? This would be seriously bad ass with a 302 swap and a body kit on a RWD and lowered Bronco II. If anyone knows if this has been done let me know!

I'm not sure of exact numbers but the b2 wheel base is about 10" shorter than the shortest ranger wheel base. The front clip and forward body mounts would line up, not sure about the rear section. The rear wheel arches would need severe surgrey, and there wouldn't be room for the stock gas tank.

Bronco II XLS had a nice body kit that would go great on a lowered 2wd. If I were entertaining the idea, I would put a Mustang II clip under the front, 8.8 Explorer rear, and probably 4 link it. (The leaves don’t leave much room for any wider than a 9 or 10” tire.)

Easy to convert a 4wd BII to 2wd... just use 2wd beams, 95-97 Ranger knuckles have better brakes too.

I didn't ask for your life story, just answer the question!

The hardest part of that plan would be finding 89-90 2wd BII beams.

They haven’t made a BII in 30 years... I would find the nicest, least rusty body I could get my hands on a build it however I felt.
