do you think the 90amp flux wire welder and harbor freight pipe bender will work for making some half doors for my b2? simple frame with a factory door latch and simple opening handle and 2 cross braces and a plate for a mirror mount... putting sheet metal over the outside for protection and to keep stuff in and out.:icon_welder::icon_confused::icon_cheers:

You dont rely on the exhaust or light tabs to save you from big rocks and tree stumps and shit in case of a roll over on a hill either...

I used the 90 amp welder and can show you pictures of the bumpers i did, welds haven't failed yet and and pulled a few vehicles out no complaints, for the bender use sch 40 pipe and in case it starts kinking pack it with sand and plug off the ends it will bend it good enough for half doors, my buddies and i have made bumpers , tire carriers and roof racks with the HF bender and haven't had no problems just over time the benders dies start spreading open and and have to get replaced. Im gonna be doing some half doors with my hf bender this summer :icon_welder: my .02 cents

I have the same bender and wleder. You can see my bumpers I made in my build thread, but I have to agree with Jon here. But for doors you should be fine.

They came with my truck. Never had a problem with them, just too small.

I used to run a cut and turned D35 on my '92 Ranger that was welded using the H.f. 90 amp flux core welder. Slammed into everything in my way and drove down the highway at 70mph. It all depends on the operator as to how well the welder works:icon_welder:
