I started getting a sound when turning. a whump whump whump sound. so i'm thinking wheel bearings. I have not done a 4x4 wheel bearing before, i've done lots of 4x2 though. they look similar and easy, but i do have a few questions. this is on a 94 4x4 with manual hubs. so i know i need a tool to take of the spindle nut. are the inner and outer wheel bearings the same size? I'll probably put on new rotors while i'm at it. the pads are new. Is there anything else i should look at doing while i have this apart? like new front shaft u-joints or something? I know the transfer case oil seal is leaking, how much more has to come out to change that?
